Feature Artists - Thirst & Quench

Thirst and Quench are twin brothers from Brisbane who
apart from there love of graffiti could not be any more
different blokes.
Quench is a very laid back individual who likes to always
paint something different with plenty of colour.
Thirst likes getting drunk and doing throw ups, he has
contributed a lot to the Brizzy graf scene over the years.

How long have you been painting for and what crews
do you represent?

Thirst - I did my first real piece in 97, in 2000 i formed the
RFW Crew thats when shit got real.

Quench - I started painting around 2004 I joined DTS
late 2008 and enjoy repping this family.

Favourite colour?

Thirst - Surgical green, Spanish MTN

Quench - Pose Sushi, Ironlak

Your biggest influences?

Thirst - Sane, Tier, Banos, Pubes, Osman

Quench - Jade, Damet, Roids, Sofles, Blends

What do you like best about graffiti?

Thirst - Knowing that your crew will always be there for you,
even if there not painting as much, those three letters will
always bring you back together.

Quench - Being able to travel anywhere in the world and
know a writer will give you a couch and a sense of direction.

What do you dislike about graffiti?

Thirst - Legal issues, kids who jump into the game without
understanding how to conduct themselves.

Where do you think graffiti will take you?

Thirst - To a better state of mind

Quench - Around the world meeting a lot of cool heads on the way.
